Fairmount Park ~ Walk

This was an area where Carolyn really wanted to walk. So after the art museum we started out. (Understand, that morning, I had completed 4.3 miles on the treadmill while doing 800 vertical feet.) We had to go down to the river to walk ... we must have walked 3-4 miles out ... couldn't find a way out-of-the park. When we did, we didn't like the area and ended up walking even further.

Just think, we walked from our hotel, to breakfast, to City Hall (you see in the picture when looking back from the Art Museum) out to the Art Museum, way past the art museum and back to the Art Museum. We got water in the museum building and got a taxi back to the room.

Honestly, we walked at a good pace for 4 hours easily ... plus the time we spent in the museum. The next day ... we were spent.
